Managing Director/Jeremy Spratley


Jeremy founded Spratley Studios in 2003 following a successful career in commercial architecture in London with Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) and AEDAS.

Spratley Studios is now home to 30 architects and designers and Jeremy leads the team with a unique and collaborative management style ensuring each brief evolves to maximise potential. His creative vision, energy and commitment to a client-focused approach consistently delivers exceptional buildings, on time and to budget.

Director/Stephen Smith

Stephen joined Spratley Studios in 2007 after graduating with a distinction from Oxford Brookes University. He was shortlisted for the prestigious RIBA President Silver Medal for his postgraduate work.

Stephen became a director in 2015 and is responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of projects across all sectors. Stephen works at the forefront of the design process for large commercial projects and consistently succeeds at balancing design excellence with the end user experience and commercial drivers.

Director/Robert Kennedy

Robert joined Spratley Studios in 2007 after qualifying from Oxford Brookes University where he specialised in Urban Design. Robert became a Director in 2015 and is responsible for the design and delivery of projects across a number of sectors.

At the heart of Robert's significant design capability is his commitment to getting under the skin of a brief to ensure that the experience of the end-user exceeds all expectations. He is an exceptional project architect with essential skills necessary to leading successful design teams.

Director/Sarah Tassell

Sarah graduated from The Bartlett, UCL in 2002. During 13 years at Hopkins Architects in London, Sarah worked on a wide variety of projects in the education, commercial, retail and civic sectors.

Sarah joined Spratley Studios in 2008 where she has taken the lead on residential, public and leisure projects. Her knowledge, experience and ability to manage large teams has been instrumental in the success of key projects in the hotel and leisure sector.
